What We Do
Mead is an old drink; an important drink, one that is ritualistic with gravitas. In the old days, it was used to mark significant occasions. A perfect reflection of the company’s commitment to delivering the masses with fine Japanese sake and exquisite dining experiences. Founded in Singapore in 2017 by Yasuhiro Mie (based in Japan and handles our operations there) and Andre Chalson (head of Singapore operations) our company specialises in the import and distribution of craft sake, shochu, quality Japanese produce, seasonal seafood, and wagyu. We ship our sake in refrigerated containers and store them in a temperature-controlled warehouse to ensure it’s freshness and quality. Fresh seafood and produce is delivered three times a week to restaurants, bars and hotels in Singapore direct from Japan.
