In order to be more effective and beloved, they have been manufacturing sake from the time of establishment (Meiji 7), named “Chie beauty” in the name of their family general “Chie” (Chie) for 140 years. They have inherited, they cherish a passionate drink with heartfelt gratitude to the female general who protected their warehouse.

The natural water used for water preparation at Nakano Shuzo has been awarded the highest gold award for three consecutive years at the global competition “Mond Selection”, which is also called the “Olympic of Food”. They have received the honour of the International High-Quality Trophy “International Quality Award” by receiving the highest gold award for three consecutive years. They are using the water of Gozan Miyama, which is sourced 200 m underground from Nakano Sakazo’s.
